The new Casino Barrière Cap d’Agde

The Casino Barrière Cap d’Agde moved location and set up shop in the brand-new resort centre on the 3rd of July 2018.

The Casino Barrière Cap d’Agde will be the first establishment to open in a location that’s considered to be one of the largest scale tourist building developments in France. Almost 17 million euros have been invested by the town in the construction of a new Palais des Congrès, and 4 million in the casino, which is run by Barrière and owned by the local council. To enhance the new venue even further, a hotel, as well as a residential and commercial property development, designed by Jean-Michel Wilmotte, will be joining it in future.

Until now, Barrière used to operate the casino located near the Ile des Loisirs, which will also be undergoing a major redevelopment.

The new Casino Barrière Cap d’Adge will now enjoy an ideal location close to the entrance to the town and near the port, right at the heart of France’s largest seaside resort.

The new building’s contemporary architecture will be dedicated to leisure and gambling with 150 slot, video and poker machines, 2 English roulette tables, 3 Black Jack tables, 1 Boule roulette table, 16 Electronic English Roulette stations and 1 Electronic Black Jack table.

The new casino’s auditorium is an elegant, welcoming venue able to welcome 250 people. “Le Bistro Barrière” restaurant will offer a gourmet menu, and to top it off, its terrace will allow guests to enjoy cocktails every day, both at lunchtime and in the evening. The building work, managed by Philippe Bonon, took a total of 15 months to complete.

Experience intense thrills in the huge gambling hall, treat yourself to an evening of cabaret against a hushed, elegant backdrop, delight your taste-buds with Barrière’s latest dining concept, experience the whirlwind of a themed party or run a seminar….The new Casino Barrière Cap d’Agde promises all that and more.
