The Barrière Group is committed to combating sexism in the workplace

The Barrière Group announced on Thursday, January 23, 2025, that it has joined the #StOpE collective. This commitment marks an important step in its social responsibility and professional equality initiatives.

The event was attended by Joy Desseigne-Barrière, Co-Chair of the Barrière Group, and Grégory Rabuel, CEO of the Group.

On Thursday, January 23, ahead of National Anti-Sexism Day, 50 new organizations from a variety of sectors signed the #StOpE initiative's commitment charter during the annual ceremony organized for this purpose.

While sexist behavior and violence remain at worrying levels in France, this growing mobilization of French companies highlights the need for collective, coordinated, and sustainable action.

Through this signature, the Barrière Group commits to respecting and enforcing this charter by implementing at least one of the following actions each year:

Display and apply the principle of zero tolerance for everyday sexism;

  • Provide information to raise awareness of sexist behavior (actions, comments, attitudes) and its impact;

  • Provide targeted training on obligations and best practices in the fight against everyday sexism;

  • Distribute educational tools to employees to help them deal with sexist behavior in the workplace;

  • Encourage all employees to prevent and identify sexist behavior and to respond to everyday sexism;

  • Prevent situations of sexism and provide personalized support to victims, witnesses, and decision-makers in reporting and dealing with sexist behavior;

  • Punish reprehensible behavior and communicate the associated penalties;

  • Measure and implement monitoring indicators to adapt the policy to combat everyday sexism.

The Barrière Group is proud to uphold these values, enabling its female employees to build their careers and showcase their skills without hindrance or fear.
