Governance pillar
Planète Barrière is implemented at Group Governance level by its two Co-Chairs, Joy Desseigne-Barrière and Alexandre Barrière, its Chief Executive Officer, Grégory Rabuel, and its Executive Committee. The Group ensures that the Planète Barrière initiative is structured and rolled out across all its establishments, with concrete actions and measurable indicators. Each year, a CSR review assesses performance, identifies successes and adjusts its development priorities or progress.
Internal audit and risk management
The Internal Audit Department ensures that the various internal control procedures are properly followed within all Group entities.

To this end, it defines the framework for exercising its functions with reference to the professional standards of the French Institute of Internal Auditors (IFACI), which require auditors to comply with strict ethical rules. Since 2015, the Internal Audit Department has been certified by IFACI for its compliance with this regulatory framework.
Internally, Barrière strives to establish concrete procedures to manage risks: internal control procedures by business line, Code of Conduct applicable to all Group teams, Supplier Charter, competitive bidding for service providers, etc. The aim is to respond effectively to the risks to which the Group may be exposed, including fraud, money laundering, and undeclared work, as well as non-compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Deployment of the Responsible Purchasing Policy
The Barrière Group strives to integrate CSR issues into its relationships with its suppliers and direct partners by establishing long-term partnerships based on trust and mutual interest. This commitment is reflected in particular in enhanced dialogue with suppliers and partners, while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
With the help of an operational guide, the common goal of all Group establishments is to promote more sustainable purchasing practices at every stage of the process.

Tourism & Disability Certification
Aware of the importance of accessibility for people with disabilities, Barrière has begun a process of gradually certifying its establishments. This initiative aims to guarantee an optimal customer experience by adapting its infrastructure where necessary and training its teams to best meet the specific needs of each visitor.
Created in 2003, Tourism & Disability is a state label managed by Atout France since May 2024. It is currently the only certification dedicated to tourist accessibility for people with disabilities and is unique in the world.
Its objective is to encourage tourism professionals to adapt their offerings and ensure a welcome that is suitable for everyone. It supports tourism facilities in making themselves accessible, while providing a clear and reassuring reference point for visitors with disabilities.
Currently, 3,700 establishments in France have been awarded this label, including the Resort Barrière Ribeauvillé.
