Our vision

Talent development, professional fulfillment, diversity, and inclusion are the pillars of the Group's commitment as a Responsible Employer. Barrière is committed to revealing potential, valuing expertise, and supporting the development of each individual, regardless of their profession, background, or seniority.

At Barrière, we place people at the heart of our HR policy

While each profession requires specific skills, Barrière is primarily looking for women and men who are driven by a shared passion: the art of service.

To enable everyone to fulfill their potential, the Barrière Group offers a framework conducive to professional development, with tools and support tailored to each individual's ambitions.

The well-being of our teams is a priority for the Group, and every effort is made to ensure that each and every employee can flourish in their daily work and proudly embody Barrière's values.

Because the Group's success depends above all on the people who bring it to life every day.

Supporting each employee throughout their career

Professional development and skills development are at the heart of the Group's HR policy. From the moment they join the company, new recruits benefit from a fully digital onboarding program designed to quickly immerse them in the Group's culture and business lines. Throughout their careers, employees can express their professional aspirations, whether during their annual review with their manager or through discussions with members of the Group HR department.

Barrière encourages internal mobility and facilitates career advancement through a dedicated career website, accessible to all our employees on permanent and fixed-term contracts.

With one in three employees having been with the Group for more than 15 years, Barrière is proud to offer the opportunity to build a long-term career and develop a real sense of pride and belonging.

In 2019, the Barrière Group launched Campus Barrière, a program dedicated to professional training and talent management. Thanks to its in-house trainers, the Group offers a variety of professional training courses, including a program designed for its managers. More recently, in December 2023, Barrière launched its croupier school, in partnership with Pôle Emploi and AFDAS—a first in France!

Quality of life and well-being at work

The fulfillment of its employees is a priority for Barrière. Every day, we strive to provide a healthy and caring work environment.

Barrière closely monitors health and safety measures in the workplace on a daily basis to prevent risks and ensure employee protection. This includes providing a listening, support, and psychological counseling service that all Barrière employees can access via a toll-free number, available 24/7.

In a quest for continuous improvement, the Group has established Quality of Life and Working Conditions indicators based on the results of regular anonymous national and local surveys. These results are analyzed locally by the General Managers and Human Resources and also at headquarters by each of the Business Divisions in order to develop action plans that are as closely aligned as possible with the feedback received.

Promoting diversity and inclusion

Barrière encourages a culture of diversity and inclusion. As part of its Responsible Employer approach, the Group is committed to implementing concrete actions that promote diversity and gender equality.

Barrière values every talent, regardless of age, gender, religion, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, or disability. The goal is for everyone to feel welcome, integrated, and listened to within their team and work environment.

Barrière also adapts its recruitment processes on request to meet the needs of candidates with disabilities. The Group values candidates who share its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility and who wish to contribute to its ambition to have a positive impact on society and the environment.
