Record participation and prize pool, a resounding success for the Barrière Poker Tour at Club Barrière

One of the most legendary circuits in France, the Barrière Poker Tour in Paris brought together 2,500 players over 10 days of festivities, including regulars on the circuit and knowledgeable amateurs from all over France. The prize pool distributed during the 19 fiercely contested tournaments reached a record level of €810,828.

The Paris stage of the 2025 Barrière Poker Tour took place at the Club Barrière on the Champs Elysées from May 9 to 18 and was a resounding success in terms of attendance, prize pool, and competition.

Like the Deauville and Ribeauvillé stages of the BPT 2025, this Parisian edition was marked by a full house every day and an exceptional atmosphere... enhanced by the iconic setting of the Club Barrière on the most beautiful avenue in the world.

Among the highlights of the BPT Paris 2025 were:

  • The Main Event attracted 709 entries, beating the previous record of 680 entries set in 2020, before the Covid-19 pandemic. The total prize pool for the tournament was €353,933, another record. It was the Franco-Brazilian Wellington Guedes Lassa from Yvelines who won the tournament with a very nice prize of €59,653.

  • Another major tournament, the Masters, the most competitive and most expensive tournament in the BPT, was won by Constantin Lau. This player from the Paris region, an expert online player who recently made the live circuit at the end of 2024, won €32,316 ahead of 174 other players. He succeeds Cécile Ticherfatine, the best French female player who won €25,778 last year.

  • Finally, there was a very poker-esque story involving Samy Khaled, who played two BPT tournaments at the same time and finished in the money in both: he won the Monster Stack from 192 entries for a nice €7,698, and finished sixth in the Masters for €7,770.

Created in 2007, the Barrière Poker Tour is one of the most legendary poker circuits in France! During each of the six stages of this festival, players can experience the passion and excitement of poker in a unique way throughout France, playing in iconic poker venues such as the Lucien Barrière Group's casinos.

The next stage of the Barrière Poker Tour will take place from July 2 to 6 at the Casino Barrière Toulouse.
