Since its origins, Barrière has maintained close link with the arts. Theater, music, cinema... culture is an integral part of its DNA. To reinforce this commitment, in 2003 the Group created a dedicated artistic department, which launched the Les Scènes Barrière label. This initiative has given rise to original creations designed to enrich the experience of our venues.
Concerts, dinner shows, showcases, dance and theater workshops... every year, Les Scènes Barrière hosts a rich and eclectic program for all audiences. In intimate venues or in the open air, Barrière establishments have established themselves as artistic venues in their own right, actively participating in the cultural life of their local communities.

To the rhythm of Barrière productions
In Lille and Toulouse, Barrière is asserting its role as a show producer by creating its own musicals. This commitment has been recognized by the industry, with several awards at the Trophées de la Comédie Musicale since 2017.
In Deauville, Nice, Blotzheim, Ribeauvillé and Trouville, the Group works with directors to create shows tailored to their places, such as The Great Party in Deauville: an immersive show where the customer experience is at the heart of the creation.
The Barrière Enghien Jazz Festival, created in 2001, fully embodies this artistic dynamic. With its iconic floating stage on the lake at Enghien-Les-Bains, it has established itself as an unmissable event for jazz lovers.

Barrière supports artistic talent beyond its venues by partnering with major cultural events such as the Cannes Film Festival, the Deauville American Film Festival, the Montreux Jazz Festival, Série Mania in Lille, and the La Baule Film and Film Music Festival.
