The Toulouse edition of the Barrière Poker Tour 2025 was a resounding success. This tournament confirmed its place in the Occitan and national poker scene. From July 2 to 6, it brought together nearly 1,200 players, up 5% from last year. They shared €335,600 in prize money during five days of fiercely contested festival play.

The five-day festival mobilized 25 poker tables and a dedicated team of nearly 50 people, in addition to the Casino's teams. Proof of its popularity and growing reputation, the Barrière Poker Tour 2025 in Toulouse brought together 1,161 players, amateurs and enthusiasts alike, from Occitanie and elsewhere, who shared €335,600 in winnings. This 5% increase in participation even reached +10% in the Main Event. Last year, the 2024 edition of the BPT in Toulouse attracted 1,100 players for a total prize pool of €323,400.

Whether BPT regulars or local players, there were several notable stories among the results of the main tournaments:

● The Main Event, the flagship tournament of the event, was a great success with 327 entries and a total prize pool of €163,238 to be shared among the players. It was won in style by Charles Pejoine with €31 528 in winnings, in his first appearance. No second victory for Sandy Denis: the local player, already winner of the Toulouse Main Event in 2023, finished well at the final table but unfortunately came in 9th place.

● The Masters, the tournament with the highest entry fee of the stage, was won by Hervé Gouzil, a regular on the circuit who had already finished first in the Deauville Main Event in 2019, the biggest BPT in history. He leaves with winnings of €10,652.

● The Fivebet Mystery Bounty attracted 209 entries for a prize pool of €52,166. After a suspenseful finish, Alexandre Renoux emerged victorious. The 30-year-old from Bordeaux, a physiotherapist by profession, won €9,316 in prize money, including €3,100 in bounties.

The next stage of the Barrière Poker Tour 2025 will take place at the Casino Barrière Le Croisette Cannes from September 25 to 28.
