The Board's role

The role of the Board of Directors is to oversee Barrière’s overall direction. Drawing on their expertise and experience, the members of the Board of Directors supervise the company’s management and ensure the quality of the information provided to the various stakeholders and the market.

 

Barrière's Board of Directors is comprised of:

  • Alexandre Barrière, Chairman of the board of directors for Groupe Lucien Barrière, and Chairman of the Société de Participations Deauvillaise

  • Joy Desseigne-Barrière, Chair of the board of directors for the Société Fermière du Casino Municipal de Cannes (SFCMC) and the Société Immobilière et d’Exploitation de l’Hôtel Majestic (SIEHM) 

  • Nathalie de Gaulle, Co-Founder & Chair – Princeps Strategy

  • Marc Léonard, President of Calicéo Holding

  • Dominique Mangin D’Ouince

  • David Layani, Chairman-founder OnePoint

  • Carlos Goncalves de Santiago, Employee Representative

 

Specialist committees:

Audit and Risk Committee

This committee is comprised of three members:

  • Joy Desseigne-Barrière

  • Nathalie de Gaulle

  • Dominique Mangin d’Ouince

These three Audit and Risk committee members boast specific finance and accounting skills. 

The aim of the Audit and Risk committee is to provide notifications and advice to the Board of Directors regarding the company’s accounts, internal and external audits, as well as its financial policy, and to ensure the reliability and transparency of its financial information. 

Remuneration Committee 

This committee comprises two members:

Dominique Mangin d’Ouince, Chairman

David Layani

The aim of the Remunerations Committee is to provide notifications and advice to the Board of Directors regarding the remuneration of the company’s directors, its CEO and the group’s senior executives.  

 

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is headed by Grégory Rabuel, Chief Executive Officer of Barrière. The Executive Committee's mission is to deploy the Group's strategy in France and abroad.

Shareholders

The Barrière family owns the entire Groupe Lucien Barrière (100%) through the family holding company Société de Participations Deauvillaise (SPD).

Our Presidency

They are part of the fourth generation of entrepreneurs taking over the leadership of Barrière, a century-old French family group.
