Barrière continues its international expansion by opening a second casino in Cairo: “Le Pacha”.

Barrière is continuing its international expansion strategy with the opening of a second casino in Egypt.

Le Pacha Casino | Cairo

Barrière has just opened its second casino in Cairo: “Le Pacha”. Situated at the heart of the city, this new casino offers the peculiarity of being located on a large docked boat boasting 8 restaurants: a fantastic leisure destination serving almost 1,500 covers a day.

Afloat on the Nile, “Le Pacha” is around 600m², boasts a games room overlooking the Nile with 9 tables (American roulette, Poker, Blackjack, Punto Banco) and 17 slot machines from 0.01 dollars upwards.

With around a hundred staff members, “Le Pacha” casino will also benefit from the synergy of the eight complementarily themed restaurants already on the boat.

With this casino, which is on a ten-year renewable lease, Barrière cements its position in the city by sharing services with the El Gezirah casino, which is also in Cairo. Le Pacha is the only casino on the Nile, located right at the heart of the very tourist-friendly area of Zamalek, close to the Marriott, Rameze Hilton and Ritz Carlton hotels.

Dominique Desseigne

“We are delighted to be able to strengthen our presence in Egypt, especially in the booming market of Cairo where we already have a casino. We aim to bring our expertise to a demanding local and international clientele. This establishment will be perfectly in line with our international development policy, especially being in such an exceptional location right at the heart of a tourist area.
