Barrière presents Hôtel Barrière Le Fouquet’s Paris new spa

Diane Barrière realised it before everyone else: the body and mind are one. Forward thinking and bold, she was devoted to elegance, well-being and beauty, characteristics which are very much a part of the Barrière Group’s makeup today.

TRADITION & INNOVATION

Since 2015, the Barrière Group has embarked on a policy of holistic development by creating new well-being areas.

The brand has created a new generation of spas, united under the «Diane Barrière» label. Naturally, the group wanted to extend this universe by giving its Paris hotel a new haven of well-being that would meet with Diane’s exacting standards. Continuing on from la Baule, Deauville, Courchevel and Cannes, the Diane Barrière Spas now have a new must-try addition at the Hôtel Barrière Le Fouquet’s Paris.

The legendary Parisian hotel’s spa has been revamped, under the watchful eye of interior designer Chantal Peyrat.

A tranquil and cosy cocoon where you can get away from the frantic pace of daily life as soon as you step through the door.

AN OASIS OF RELAXATION

A 750 m² spa focused on well-being, beauty, relaxation, sensory experiences and re-energising body and mind.

The keys to well-being:

  • A 15 metre by 6 metre swimming pool
  •  1 aqua fitness circuit - unique in Paris
Steam rooms for men and women
  • 1 sauna
  • 5 treatment rooms, including one for 2 people
  • Cryosurgery for specific areas of the body
  • A 50m² fitness suite with ultra-modern body building and cardio-training equipment for personal fitness plans
  • 1 personal trainer on request
  • 1 hairdressing salon

Non-residents may also use the spa with their yearly membership or day pass.

HÔTEL BARRIÈRE LE FOUQUET’S PARIS & KOS PARIS

Le Fouquet’s epitomizes all that is French style and luxury, so it makes sense that the Diane Barrière spa has chosen to work with the exclusive French cosmetics brand Kos Paris, founded in 2010 by Sophie Allouche.

Kos Paris was born from the desire to create a top-of-the-range line of natural cosmetics combining the power of active plant-based ingredients (for example, the Legends elixir serum contains more than 65% active ingredients), rich textures and respect for the environment. Derived largely from organic agriculture, these products are free from conservatives, silicone, parabens, petrochemical derivatives and mineral oil.

Barbary fig seeds gathered on Morocco’s High Plateaux, Amazonian Babassu butter, Finnish cranberries, Japanese camellias…these cosmetics invite you on a journey to well-being.

The aim of the beauty rituals is for you to let go, to feel re-energised with instantly visible more radiant skin.

SIGNATURE TREATMENTS

  • Kos Paris ultimate hydration treatment provides deep nourishment using a rice powder and an argan oil massage (50 mins 170 €, 80 mins 220 €)
  • Kos Paris Legends treatment to rebalance the body, combining a treatment methodology inspired by the ancestral Japanese art of kobido with the Legends anti-aging and anti-oxidant elixir serum. (80 mins 230 €)
  • The Oil ceremony is the Kos Paris signature massage combining luxurious rich oils with massage strokes to eliminate stress and tension. (50 mins 170 €, 80 mins 220 €)

For winter 2017, Barrière has created its first Signature treatment which will be available in all of the group’s spas. The Diane Barrière treatment is a journey based on stretches, effleurages, massages and applying pressure inspired by energy techniques and neuromuscular therapy to rebalance the body’s energies.

DETOX & RELAXATION

Well-being is more than just a state of mind, it’s a lifestyle, which is what led the Spa Diane Barrière and cosmetics experts from Kos Paris to come up with the first Parisian Urban Detox treatments. Created by the spa team, and run by Fanny Martin in conjunction with personal trainer Jimmy Jarnet, voted best masseur in 2016, these programmes help you to re-energise whilst eliminating toxins that are inherent to busy city living. Diet, stress, posture… no stone has been left unturned in the quest to help you become the best you can be.

To enhance the effects of this City Detox programme, the spa experts recommend cryosurgery sessions as well. Many sportsmen and women swear by this treatment, designed to improve muscle recovery, relieve stress, improve sleep quality and skin tone.

Another option: take a well-balanced «dinner box» home with you. Prepared by Raymond Nordin, chef at Le Joy restaurant, it includes items such as lettuce heart, cooked and raw vegetables, a poke bowl, heirloom vegetables with chia seeds and a floating island dessert with lime zest, fresh mango and passionfruit.

Guests at the Hôtel Barrière Le Fouquet’s Paris can choose to stay in a Deluxe suite with Freshbed bedding, a new system which allows you to adjust the temperature of your bed linen according to your needs (from 1,780 € per night).

  • City Detox 2-day package with 8 treatments (yoga or pilates, aquafitness, crystal body rub, detox body wrap, sports massage, oil ceremony, breathing techniques, meditation session, two sessions in the steam room or sauna), two vegan lunches, Juice Lab detox juices and two vegan dinners available as an option to be eaten at the hotel or to take home with you.
From 900 € not including accommodation.

  •  City Detox 3-days with 12 treatments (in addition to the programme above, a yoga or pilates session, a Legends facial treatment, a relaxation session and an additional steam room or sauna session).
From 1,200 € not including accommodation.
