Jazz bands in Enghien-les-Bains. Dinner shows in Bordeaux. One-man shows in Lille. At the Casinos Barrière, the show doesn't just take place in the games rooms. These vibrant venues play host to more than 3,000 events every year. Taking place under the "Barrière Entertainment" label, these occasions are real highlights in the local cultural calendar.

As temples of entertainment, the casinos put on a host of diverse events year-round for all types of audiences, including cabarets, concerts, dinner shows, ballet performances and even one-man shows.

Barrière productions set the tempo

Artistic talent is a key component of Barrière's identity. In 2005, the ground-breaking company created an integrated Artistic department, which now produces events under the "Les scènes Barrière" label.

The casinos play an essential role in the cultural entertainment programme of their respective towns and cities. From musicals to plays, "Barrière Entertainment" sets the pace for the season.

Entirely created and produced by Barrière, The Hermitage's Musical Moments, dedicated to the very greatest classical composers, draw music lovers in droves to La Baule in March. Since 2001, the Barrière Enghien Jazz Festival has brought swing lovers together at Casino Barrière Enghien-les-Bains, in the rows of the theatre and on the lake's floating stage.

New and flourishing talents

In addition to playing an active role in the cultural scene, Barrière also contributes via its local partnerships. In music, with the Montreux Jazz Festival and the Opéra national de Bordeaux. In the seventh art, with the Deauville American Film Festival, the Dinard British Film Festival, and the Cannes International Film Festival.

Barrière’s support of artistic creation follows on from one of its key commitments: to promote young talent. "Barrière Entertainment" is a springboard for artists, just like the Barrière Foundation's commitment to new stars in theatre and film.
